VINYL SALES NOTES – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Provenence & Grading

All albums sold by me for the time being are mine, or once owned by my family. I have visually graded them generally in line with the following criteria (I have excluded any that are suspect i.e any Fair or Poor) :-

·         MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

·         EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

·         VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

·         GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

BUT PLEASE READ THE INDIVIDUAL DESCRIPTIONS – so far as I am aware no LP advertised has noticeable deterioration in sound quality.

Cleaning

All records have been inspected by me before despatch and when required cleaned. I do recommend checking and cleaning the record(s) again before playing given they’ve been in transit. Gotta look after your cartridges J

Returns

Should you not be happy with the purchase within 3 days of receipt please let me know and I will endeavour to solve any problem arising.

I only have a desire to sell appropriate quality items for which realistic and accurate descriptions are provided. If there has been any discrepancy in that I would be happy to accept a return, and on receipt, offer a refund of the purchase price and original contribution to postage paid.

Payment

Apart from cash on collection, Paypal is the only payment method I accept, and payment should be received within 3 days of the auction ending please.

Shipping

I aim to ship the within 24-48 hours of confirmed and cleared payment.

I obtain proof of posting – so non-receipt is at your risk unless you pay for higher delivery service – please contact me before bidding for relevant premium to be paid. Tracking and signed for service for all International (non-UK) delivery will be an additional £5 per packet.

I can ONLY mail out around 7 to 8 records to Europe or Rest of the World as a single despatch as there is a weight LIMIT of up to 2Kg, so if you want more records then we have to start another Packet.
