AMBROSE SLADE - BALLZY **White Label Promo**
For auction is this 'rare promo' white label copy of ' Ballzy' from 1969 on the Fontana record label. This is an original pressing and not the newer copy. This record was the property of radio WCBN in America. WCBN-FM is the student-run radio station of the University of Michigan, USA. The record cover has two WCBN stamps on either side and a promo sticker with recommended cuts for air play. The records label is not stamped and is as original. The inner sleeve is fair with part seam split on two edges. The cover is in good condition with a few age related scuffs to the bottom edge (see photo)
The record itself may have been played by the radio station but never by myself since acquiring it for my collection over 40 years ago. See all detailed photos.
Overall this is a much coveted and hard to find 'promo' copy of this early Slade L.P. and will sit well in any fans collection.
