Description
This is a very good original U.S. pressing copy of the third LP by garage/psychedelic/hard rock group the Amboy Dukes, released in 1969. The group was based in Detroit, and is best remembered today for having Ted Nugent on lead guitar. This LP shows the group transitioning from psychedelic rock to hard rock in songs like "Prodigal Man" and "Loaded for Bear" (both credited to Nugent, natch), along with the title track. Rusty Day took over lead vocal duties on this LP, and departed soon after to join Cactus. The jacket has a previous owner's name written in pen on the front and back covers (see photos), wear on and light splitting in the seams, ring wear and staining (heavier on the back cover), corner wear, and light spine and edge wear (VG+). The disc has lots of dings and hairline scrapes, and some scuffing and loss of glossiness, but plays better than it looks with light surface noise and occasional crackling (VG+).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
