Description

ALVIS WAYNE Rare Rockabilly WESTPORT Label

Nice copy of this Collectible 1958 Rockabilly 45.
Songs are: You are the One and Lay your head on my Shoulder by Alvis Wayne
on WESTPORT Label #140.

RECORD: Very Good+ (has writing and paper stickers on both sides)
Could go with a Very Good++ (but I tend to be more conservative due to the wol)

RECORD GRADINGS

Near Mint – Record shows no obvious signs of wear.
LP jacket has no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable defects.

Excellent: Just missing Near Mint Standards

Very Good++: Somewhere between Very Good+ and Excellent

Very Good+: Will show some signs of being played, may show some signs of wear and may have scuffs or very light scratches. The label may have very slight ring wear or discoloration.
Cover will have very slight ring wear and minor blemishes.

Very Good: More pronounced signs of wear and more noticeable scuffs or light scratches. Labels may have some writing and/or stickers.
Covers will have more pronounced ring wear, corner wear, etc.

Good+: Somewhere between Good and Very Good.

Good: Will have noticeable scratches and scuffs and may not be pretty looking but plays all the way through. Surface noise will be evident.
Cover will have marks, writing, some seam splitting, etc.

NOTE: Most LPs are visually graded, however if I have any doubts of A suspected area, I will play it to be sure.

Most 45s are played and graded accordingly

I will never sell a record intentionally that doesn’t play all the way through without skipping.
