Rare original recording on the red/gold HMV record label . The catalogue number is ALP 1701/1702 . This was released in 1959

Please note:- This is unavailable in Stereo

This is one, of many records, from an HMV executives private collection. The huge collection came to light after his death last year. He worked for HMV(EMI) from the early 1950's until middle 1970's. The collection consists of mainly classical and opera recordings, but also of some jazz and pop/rock records and I'm afraid to say ...easy listening. Everything is in EXCELLENT, NEAR MINT or MINT condition.

Record 1: EXCELLENT

Record 2: EXCELLENT

MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition. I only grade SEALED records as MINT. The cover and any extra items are also unused in AS NEW condition.

NEAR MINT

A nearly perfect record, with only the slightest cosmetic flaw - no audible defect.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. There may be the odd surface mark and or a few light tics
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, and displays some deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. There may be periods of clicks and or ticking
Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
