Almost Famous Soundtrack - Double vinyl LP.
This is an extremely rare first pressing ADVANCE PROMO LP. It was a promo made by Dreamworks and was never distributed to the public. I received this copy from someone that worked for Dreamworks and it has been in my personal collection ever since.
It has only been played twice. Once when I first received it and once prior to listing it. I did a full album complete PLAY TEST on a high end Technics SL-1200MK7 turntable. All turntables/needles (stylus) may sound/play differently but this should give you the most accurate idea of the audio quality.
Side 1 sounds great. It has the lightest bit of crackling in between tracks. Possibly due to dust build up over the last 20 years.
Side 2 sounds great all the way through.
Side 3 sounds great with just the lightest bit of crackling between tracks.
Side 4 sounds great with just the slightest bit of surface noise occasionally on track 4.
Front of the jacket is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear, a couple very small light creases along the bottom seam. The back of the jacket is in nice condition but does have some small creases and a small bit of ring wear onset (not major, maybe a couple inches in top right corner, but worth mentioning). Strong VG+ overall, especially given its age. Check out the photos and video to get a good idea of the jacket condition.
The vinyl is a strong VG+ with minor surface marks that do not affect the audio. No deep scratches or anything like that.
Vinyl will be shipped outside of the jacket to prevent damage during shipping.
