You are bidding for a CLASSIC UK 60'S FEMALE JAZZ/BEAT VOCAL LP record by ALMA COGAN called ALMA issued in the UK on the COLUMBIA record label in 1967, cat number SX 6130 ( BLACK, SILVER AND BLUE LABEL, STEREO). Side 1;  LET HER GO, TRAINS AND BOATS AND PLANES, TICKET TO RIDE, I GET A KICK OUT OF YOU, THERE'S A TIME AND PLACE, EIGHT DAYS A WEEK.. Side 2;  TYESTERDAY, I FEEL FINE, JOLLY GOOD COMPANY, MORE, DON'T YOU KNOW YOCKOMO, NOW THAT I'VE FOUND YOU. The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels. The record has little wear with few slight scuffs and few slight surface scratches and plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. The original picture sleeve is also excellent though there is a tape stain olong the top flip over rear. CLASSIC UK FEMALE JAZZ/ POP BEAT VOCAL ALBUM from ALMA COGAN featuring a great set of 60's STANDARDS  including super versions of LENNON AND MCCARTNEY beatles SONGS.. ALMA COGAN was huge in the 50's with a string of huge hits around the world. Ever present on UK radio and and continued her success around the world with continuing hiut records until her untimel tragic early death in 1967.This album was released just after her death and shows a progression and a reinvention of herself,the tracks featuring the BEATLES songs went on to chart and become instant classics, THE BEATLES themselves said how much they admired these tracks. RARE in good condition, from my own collection.
