This is one of the best ever instrumental 78's from Iran I have seen in a long time! Ali Zahedi, a big master of tombak (or "zarb" as also stated on the label) is performing immaculately over a melodic base in Bayat-e Tork mode. The disc is in near EX shape and has a very light warp; as you can hear it plays perfectly! Young Iran label was Iran based as for its roster of artists and marketplace but they were based in Bombay (Mumbai) for manufacturing their items. I don't know how or why but the pressing quality is always a bit questionable so you need to have very nice condition for these items to play well at their maximum. Very happy to report this is one such item. Please hear below! Comes with the Behesht record sleeve which was not a record company but a big retail shop at the time selling 78rpm records which printed their own sleeves!
