Incredibly Rare Original 1969 U.K. Transatlantic Records 1st Pressing 'Alexis Korner All Stars' The Awesome Blues Classic by Alexis Korner!!! Original UK A1//B1 Matrix Thick & Chunky 1st Pressing!!!  Complete with Original 1st Press Front Laminated MacNeill Sleeve and Correct 'Patent Applied For' Inner Sleeve!!!

You are bidding on the very scarce original 1969 UK Transatlantic 1st Pressing of the classic eponymous debut LP by Alexis Korner!!! UK 1st pressings of this classic LP complete with their 1st press MacNeill Laminated Sleeves and correct inners just never turn up anymore - especially in this kind of condition!!!! This is an amazing sounding record from one of the masters of the 1960's UK blues scene - a massive influence on many 1960's bands; it was at an Alexis Korner gig that the Rolling Stones formed!!!!  This disc has a beautiful shine and is pressed on chunky 1st press thick vinyl.  Not only that but this LP comes with it's original 1st press MacNeill laminated sleeve!!! and its Original British Patent inner sleeve! As you'd expect, the cool 1st press white/purple Transatlantic centre labels are in Stunning condition!!! There are NO Scribbles. NO lifting or Bubbling, NO unwanted writing/scribbles and just the lightest spindle lines only visible when holding the record angled against light - The labels retain all they original whiteness with no yellowing or grubbiness!!! The gramophone rims containing the all important 1st press matrix are also Mint-!!! Most of these 1st pressings were played to death in the 1960's and only turn up today full of scratches with a dull sheen and totally worn out. This one is NOT and the record stills retains a beautiful unblemished sheen, it has survived beautifully and is certainly one of the best 1ST PRESS examples of this rare record you will see!! The record has NO scratches, NO hairlines and NO other blemishes, save for just the most insignificant paper lines which are invisible unless holding the record angled toward strong light from a window etc. The record still retains ALL its original gloss and shine and has NO dulling and NO nasty greying of the grooves!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!! This record must PROPERLY grade Excellent!!!! Believe me this record is NOT over-graded in ANY way!!! The original 1st press MacNeill front laminated sleeve is in super condition!!! It has the correct 'pinched' spine ends and looks superb!!! There are NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing etc of any kind! It has retained all it stiffness (not gone floppy and lifeless like most around today) and has NO Tears, No Seam Wear At All!!! There is obviously No Seam splitting and very little of the feathering of the opening edge (although there is some), which blights this sleeve!!! There are NO Stains, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! There is very little wear to the corners and the sleeve lies perfectly FLAT with and a good strong spine with perfectly legible spine text!!! The laminate has retained all its gloss, shine and clarity allowing the colours to come through bright and vibrant.  There is just one or two light isolated oxbow type laminate creases and that's about it!!! The non-laminated white reverse is also in super condition, these usually become very grubby and discoloured over time, however this one is in fine shape with only the faintest trace of discolouration!!! A very nice cover indeed, which easily grades as a Excellent- if not better!!! Believe me, like all our other records this is in no way over-graded!!! Comes complete with it's original 'Made in England' and 'Patent Applied For' text windowed Inner sleeve. A truly beautiful example of a very, very rare record!!! Don't miss this one!!!
