GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Note : tutte le composizioni sono di Alex Serra. Temi drammatici prevalentemente caratterizzati da un'ossessiva ripetizione di poche note dei vari strumenti musicali. Non mancano comunque atmosfere serene di ottima fattura e con maggior libertà esecutiva dei musicisti. Fra le tracce : " Antonello's Dream " che si sviluppa con improvvisazioni d'organo supportate da percussioni e sezione ritmica con caratteristiche non troppo distanti dalle sonorità d'avanguardia. Questo brano è dedicato al grande tastierista Antonello Vannucchi presente in tutto il disco. " Dracmas for Taxi " tema carico di tensione e dalla ritmica discretamente vivace guidato dalla spinetta con l'ausilio del basso e delle percussioni, " Il Fiore Rosso ", molto ossessiva nonostante il suo lento andamento sonoro, dove marimba, organo e brevi interventi di pianoforte interagiscono efficacemente. " La Fabbrica dei Pazzi " le cui atmosfere drammatiche sono sottolineate dalle percussioni e dalla pedaliera dell'organo. In sottofondo note acide della chitarra elettrica. " L'Incubo del Cronometro " tema altamente ossessivo eseguito da organo, marimba e sezione ritmica con soluzioni vicine alla musica d'avanguardia. " Torreveneri " dalla rilassante atmosfera sognatrice ben condotta dalla chitarra elettrica con ampio uso di eco e riverberatore, " Alex Mood " ritmicamente vivace con belle improvvisazioni del pianoforte.

Notes : all compositions by Alex Serra. Dramatic themes mainly characterized by an obsessive repetition of a few notes from various musical instruments. There are however beautiful serene atmospheres with greater interpretative freedom of musicians.  Among the tracks: " Antonello's Dream " with organ improvisations well accompanied by percussion and rhythm section with features not too far from avant-garde sounds. This track is dedicated to the great keyboardist Antonello Vannucchi present throughout the record. " Dracmas for Taxi " theme burdened with tension and from fairly lively rhythm led by the spinet with the support of the bass and percussion, " Il Fiore Rosso " very obsessive track in spite of its slow development where marimba, organ and short piano chords interact constructively. " La Fabbrica dei Pazzi " whose dramatic atmospheres are underlined by percussion and pedal organ. Acid chords of the electric guitar in the background. " L'Incubo del Cronometro " highly obsessive theme performed by organ, marimba and rhythm section with solutions close to the avant-garde music. " Torreveneri " from the relaxing and dreamy atmosphere well-led by electric guitar with large use of echo and reverberator, " Alex Mood " rhythmically lively with beautiful piano improvisations.
