Four, one-sided, extremely rare acetate discs of Alex Haley's double LP "Tells The Story Of His Search For Roots." A piece of history!


Alex Haley Tells the Story of His Search for Roots (1977) - 2-LP recording of a two-hour lecture Haley gave at the University Of Pennsylvania.  Released by Warner Brothers Records (2BS 3036).

Alexander Murray Palmer Haley (August 11, 1921 – February 10, 1992) was an African-American writer best known as the author of Roots: The Saga of an American Family and the coauthor of The Autobiography of Malcom X.
