Description
1982 ROJEC RECORDS. VINYL IS VG+ ~ PYRAMID ON RUNGROOVE. ALL VINYL IS ORIGINAL U.S. PRESSINGS WITH THE PROPER STAMPS ON RUNGROOVES. Aleke Kanonu is a percussionist from Nigeria and O.C. Tolbert is a great Soul singer known for his album "Damn Sam the Miracle Man and the Soul Congregation."
"Happiness" is an uptown style Gospel ballad, and the B-side is an Afrobeat disco tune in the style of the fantastic Aleke's album entitled Aleke.
The producer "Jack Taylor" ran his own label "Rojac Records" from 1979 till' 1984 where he has also recorded other soul tracks for Tolbert. However, this 12inch was released on his other label "Rojec Records
