Description
This auction is for a very rare Blues LP from Albert King entitled "Born Under A Bad Sign". I believe this to be a 1968 Stax Records pressing pressed at the Columbia factory during a brief transitional period in 1968. I believe the pressing to be this based on the stamped matrices and the center label being slightly different than the original 1967 pressing manufactured at the Atlantic Plant. The record is in VG to VG+ shape with some hairlines and signs of use and wear. The center label has "DW" written in marker on the Side A label. Side B is clean. The Jacket has this same DW written on the cover. I have rated the jacket at VG+ with the only detriments being this writing and some ringwear/discoloration, and there is some minor wear present around the edges. Very great condition for the age of this record!

- SS Still Sealed
- M Mint - Perfect in all ways.
- M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
- NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
- VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
- VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
- VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
- VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
- G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
