This is one of a series of rare or sealed LPs and EPs that I will be listing over the next several weeks. 

This item is a very rare vinyl LP pressing of the album entitled Try Anything Once by Alan Parsons.  This vinyl pressing is an import from Germany on the Arista Records label.  Jettisoning the “Project”, Parsons released this album as his first solo project, with help from David Pack of Ambrosia, Ian Bairnson, Chris Thompson of Manfred Mann and Eric Stewart of 10CC (and Paul McCartney’s collaborator on Press To Play).  This is a very fine album – I will often pop the CD into my computer while I am doing stuff.  This pressing would be near-mint inside and out, if not for a mild crease near the upper right-hand side; as it is, the vinyl is beautiful.

The vinyl is in excellent condition.  The cover is in beautiful near-mint condition, as shown in the photo. 

I do not use stock pictures.  The photo shows the actual item up for auction.

NOTE:  Due to the present rules under Paypal, I can now ship internationally ONLY VIA PRIORITY MAIL.  If you are outside the US, Priority International is the standard shipping, due to the fact that under Paypal rules, delivery tracking must be included on EVERY package outside the US.  The cost depends upon the weight and the country of destination.  I will provide the cost for each option in my post-auction invoice (and, again, I can provide the info during the auction, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of records).  To Canada, it will be $21.50USD for one LP.  To most other countries, it will be about $29.50USD for one LP.  I recognize that this will result in much higher shipping costs and I apologize for this change, but it is necessary under the Paypal rules now in effect. I am not a dealer, and all of the items I list for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty years (education expenses – and soon-to-be college expenses -- are the reason I am selling my collection...).   The shipping costs are $4.00 via media mail to anywhere in the U.S.   I will always combine records from multiple auctions, and each additional record is $0.40 for media mail shipping in the US.  If there are additional records you wish to bid on, just drop me a line and I will send an updated invoice when the auctions have all ended.  If you prefer, I can also send the record by Priority Mail within the U.S. as well.  The cost of Priority Mail is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will provide the cost for Priority Mail in my post-auction invoice.  I can also provide it while the auction is pending through My Messages in eBay.

Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information. 

NOTE – there is no tracking of packages through the USPS without delivery confirmation.  If you would like tracking ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75. 

International Buyers – Please Note:

·         Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

·         Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

·         These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

·         We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

I will always combine items, so that your shipping costs will be more manageable.  Payment may be made by paypal.  If I do not receive payment for an item within fifteen (15) days of the end of the auction and I do not hear from you in response to e-mails, I will consider the auction results void and relist the item(s) for auction.
