Description

Up for auction is a Lot of 2 rare, original albums by the Alan Parsons Project:

Tales Of Mystery & Imagination: Edgar Allan Poe, 20th Century (T-508), 1976
-Guaranteed original U.S. pressing
-Correct orange 20th Century labels
-TML-M stampers in run-out
-Original gatefold cover
-Includes rare 8-page booklet
-No UPC/bar code on cover

Note:
Most copies for sale on ebay are reissues.  Originals had the dark orange and blue 20th Century labels, not the later light blue ones.  Also, the originals had the dark green covers while the reissues had the picture of Alan Parsons on the cover.  Originals such as this one are actually very rare.

Condition:
-The cover is in very good condition with light signs of wear.  Light rubbing to front and back, light creasing to some edges, and some rubbing wear to seams.  No seam splits.  Still nice.  Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).

The vinyl is in very nice condition, still retains much of its original shine.  No obvious scratches or scuffs, just some light, superficial signs of being taken out of paper inner sleeve a few times.  Looks like it's been played a couple times, but handled very carefully.  Well-preserved.  Grade: Excellent (EX).

Condition:
The cover is in very nice condition, no significant signs of wear.  Clean front and back, no ring wear.  Very light rub to corners.  Very well-preserved, attractive.  Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-).

The vinyl is also in very nice condition, still has its original high gloss shine.  No apparent scratches or scuffs, no marks.  Labels are clean, unmarked.  Record has been in my collection for 35 years, played once, then archived.  Very well-preserved copy.  Grade: Near Mint (NM).
