Description
Scarce release on tax scam label Tiger Lily. Tax scam labels would claim high costs and low profits to get out of paying taxes. These labels did not do very much -if anything- to distribute or promote their releases. Most of them ended up in cut-out warehouses or the trash.
Alan Gordon was a singer-songwriter best known as one of the writers of The Turtles' "Happy Together." That wasn't his only success as a songwriter and his success in that arena allowed him to hire the cream of the crop of session musicians for this release (see the photo of the back cover for the credits - a who's who of New York session royalty.) The result is a great mix of Beatles-esque pop and soul.

NM (Near Mint) : Like new, should have no audible or visual imperfections
EX or VG++ (Excellent): Visual imperfections like surface scuffs from the inner sleeve will be present, but should still play like new
VG+ (Very Good Plus) : Light marks will be present, as well as an isolated scratch. Average condition, used but not abused; should play well with little to no noise
VG (Very Good) : Marks, light groove wear, light scratches may all be present. Surface noise may be present but should not be distracting or overpower the music
VG- (Very Good Minus) : Significant marking, scratches, groove wear will be present, as will crackle and pops. Will play through but expect it to have some noise
G (Good) : Heavy wear, dull surface, as many scratches as grooves, very noisy. Has to be exceptionally rare to be offered in this condition.
