Offered in this lot is a 8 disc 78 rpm set (16 sides), numbered 47598 thru 47613, of a show broadcast on WOR radio on October 27, 1946 from Chicago, IL on the life of and career of entertaineer AL JOLSON. The broadcast features a long interview with MR. JOLSON with numerous performances of famous Jolson "Hits" performed LIVE. This is a complete set of transcription discs as presented by SIG SCHY. The discs are in amazing condition with no cracks, chips, needle digs, heavy scratches or heavy surface wear. There are just the lightest of marks to the playing surface. The original labels are immaculate. No doubt a unique item in great condition. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CLOSELY: DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED MY OFFICIAL ebay INVOICE.
