Al Bowlly with Howard Godfrey
The Way With Every Sailor
Recorded October 1931 in London

This Al Bowlly/Howard Godfrey single-sided Vinyl 78 is a pressing that was made from the "Original Master Stamper" many years ago. I belive that they were pressed up many years ago for re-release and then the masters were destroyed. What we now have though is a far superior disc than the original shellac pressing.

Disc is in E+ Condition and plays superbly, very little crackle or surface noise, fabulous sound quality. Disc as you can see has damage to the white label, cosmetic and can easily be replaced if you wish to do so.

This is pretty much a unique Bowlly item and a one time chance to acquire this!


I have just acquired a very large and rare collection of Al Bowlly 78s, some exceptionally rare items to come over the coming month or two, 3 Bowlly discs on the "Empire" Label to name but a few, plenty more other very rare Bowlly 78s to come.
