Description

This offering is for an AKAI 8-track player/recorder with 19 eight track tapes.  Ther player/recorder was purchased in 1975 when we were living in Birmingham, England.  The player recorder is 110 volt with plug-in ports for external speakers and is in excellent condition.  These track tapes were recorded from 8-tracks and LP's.  1) The 4 tapes with green labels were taped for me by an Englishman from his 8 track collection  of Country and Western music.  The tapes consists of Waylon Jennings, Waylon and the Kimberlys, Jerry Jeff Walker and Mickey Newberry...2) 2 tapes in black Memorex sleeves are Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Mickey Newberry...3) Memorex tapes not in sleeves are Don Williams, George Jones and others...4) A blue tape not in a sleeve is Blue Grass music taped for me by a local musician in Birmingham.  The bands are Red Rector, the Country Gentlemen, Ozark Mountain Dare Devils, Down Country Boys and Mac Wiseman...5) 2 realistic tapes in sleeves have Willie and Blue Grass... These are original recordings - 1) Buddy Holly/Cricket 20 Golden Greats copyright 1978...2) Don Williams - Visions - copyright 1977...3) Waylon Jennings I've Always Been Crazy, copyright 1978...4)Marty Robbins - The Performer - copyright 1978/79...5) Merle Haggard - Big City - copyright 1981...6) Moe Bandy & Joe Stampley - Just Gold Ol' Boys - copyright 1979...7) The Best of John Denver...8) Film Festival Frank Chacksfield - copyright 1968...All tapes are in great condition and have been played before listing to insure quality.  During the 70's many of the above artist toured England and I was lucky to see them perform.  Smoke free home.
