12" Split LP Test Pressing
RARE COLLECTIBLE 1999 12" vinyl on HYDRA HEAD RECORDS hh666 - 46
Never sold in stores like this. Test Pressings are early copies of vinyl pressed to hand out to band members, record company personnel, and anyone closely associated so they can make sure it sounds like they want it to sound. They are generally pressed in editions anywhere from 3 to 15 copies. Less or more can happen, but the number is generally at the lower end of the above scale. This copy is unnumbered and unplayed. NM!!
Test pressings are the rarest versions of any vinyl that you can find, next to acetates, which aren't really common anymore.
It was rereleased on compact disc and the music was remastered, changing the sound. If you'd like to hear the way it sounded when they first mixed it and put it onto the rarest early copies of vinyl that were pressed, here is your chance!
(see other auctions for more rarities, Pig Destroyer, Converge, Coalesce, and other grindcore stuff, and J.R. Hayes signed items)

This is a new unplayed unused copy. Vinyl is NM. The record comes in a plain white sleeve with a wraparound makeshift obi-like information strip. I've photographed it from all angles, even in closeup, so you should be able to see anything you need to see. I've also photographed the test pressing record label, which is the generic yellow used by most everyone, manufactured by Erika Records.
The Converge side is basically an appendix to the Jane Doe album, and is some of their best work. This version, before the remastering will sound completely different to you if you've heard the remaster. Rare early mixes.
12" VINYL record in rare test pressing form. Never in stores.
Converge is a four-piece band based out of Salem, Massachusetts. Playing a blend of hardcore punk and extreme metal since 1990, Converge has helped to define many of the rudiments of the metalcore genre.
Converge's influences range from hardcore punk bands, such as Black Flag, Negative Approach, The Accused, and Born Against; metal bands like Black Sabbath, Godflesh, Slayer, and Entombed; and proto-mathcore bands Starkweather and Rorschach. Jacob Bannon has also discussed an appreciation for and inspiration from grindcore on Earache Records, post-hardcore on Dischord Records, thrash metal, such as Suicidal Tendencies, Vio-lence, and Death Angel, and post-punk groups, such as Depeche Mode and the Cure.

FOR GOD'S SAKE, BY ALL THAT IS HOLY, SEE OUR OTHER AUCTIONS!!!!!!
We just dug up rare vinyl!!! You're gonna die!
WE'RE STARTING THIS AUCTION AT A LOW BID PRICE. IF YOU END UP BUYING IT FOR ANYWHERE NEAR THAT PRICE, WE ARE GOING TO CRY A LOT.
See the photo(s). Sorry about my hand in the shots, (if it is), but I try to NEVER LAY THE VINYL DOWN ON ANYTHING, unlike lots of sellers, who FREAKIN' lay records down on tables and things to photograph them! We give them all the very clean hand or WHITE GLOVE TREATMENT, as you see in the photos, and take the pics with someone holding the vinyl in the air, never touching it, pulling it carefully from its sleeve. Whatever we sell you is going to be in the best shape possible. We're all collectors and know that other collectors appreciate the extra mile. I mean, there may be a smoker in the building, but he doesn't blow it into the records, and we handle them as if they might explode! (Although they won't, postal person, we promise)
Have a good time bidding. Maybe you can get it for a steal. Good luck. Hopefully you'll get it for a good price. If you have any questions, fire 'em at us!
We will ship this ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
