Description
Offered for bidding is this super rare Aerosmith's first album Radio Station Only Prom Copy. The cover is in EX codition. The record when viewed under the magnifying glass is completely flawless without a single visable defect on both sides A and side B of the vinyl! You will probably NEVER see another promo of this album in this condition quite probably ever again! The label is not a white label because Columbia did not use one on this title. There were not that many records pressed of this title originally, and so Columbia only added a timing strip for Radio Station Promotion uses. The Matrix numbers indicate an original pressing and the record is in the same condition as the jacket. There runout area's are narrow on both side's of the record which indicate less dynamic compression with this cutting with nice wide groove spacing on both sides, unlike all of the later cuttings. The master tapes of these older titles have now aged and any of the newer heavy vinyl reissues simply can't match the ambience and dynamic's of an original pressing of this type. Please note. The way to identify the very earliest pressing's on this title is to look for the mis spelled song titles! On the back of the jacket it will say, 'Walking the Dig' instead of 'Dog'. Also on the back of the jacket, is says 'Write me' instead of 'Write me a letter'. It also says 'Write me' on the record label as well! This is how you know that you are looking at the correct record that goes with this jacket. Sure to be the pride of your collection and as always, Happy Bidding!
