Description
Adrian Henri is well known as being a member of The Liverpool Scene and one of the contributors to the legendary collection of poems, 'The Mersey Sound', in the Penguin Modern Poets series.
This selection includes 'Tonight at Noon' and 'Love is...' from that very book.
Hugo Williams came to prominence in the mid-sixties and developed a similar style to the Liverpool poets even though he was from the south of England.
This record, on which they occupy one side each, is in superb condition – which is particularly important on spoken word records. There is the occasional click or pop but overall this is a record that has obviously been well cared for.
The sleeve is very clean front and back with only a little foxing along the top on the back. There is quite a noticeable crease bottom right (see scan) and slight lifting of the laminate near the spine.
