Achim Reichel & Machines - "Echo", Original German issue 2 LP gatefold on Polydor 2633 003.

In the world of space music, Achim Reichel wrote the flight manual.  Undeniably legendary, this release was difficult to find even when it was released in the early 1970's.  It was here that Reichel developed his unique "echo guitar" sound, which is unbelievable.  Add to that the fact this was also superbly recorded (by Conny Plank), and you have the best of all worlds.

A concept album, it is divided into themes, spread out over 4 sides:  "Invitation; The Echo of the presence; The Echo of time; The Echo of the future; The Echo of the past".  This contains some of the most innovative and beautiful music Reichel would ever release.

The Jacket is clean, with no seam splits and a straight spine, a couple of very minor imperfections (a crease in lower left and the extremely small tear at top), and no hint of ring wear.  LPs are clean and crisp, with no scratches; Both LP’s look unplayed with beautiful shine and lustre. Has the original DM price sticker on FC! 

This is a genuinely rare title in almost perfect shape, and my reserve reflects this!

For Japan, Korea, Australia, Africa, Taiwan, Hong Kong & any South Pacific countries it will be $16.00 for the first LP & $4.50 each after that. Surface (Economy Rate) shipping is also available. For all locations, double LPs & multi record sets count as 2 or more LPs. International Orders will be shipped AIRMAIL ONLY! Please do not ask for any other option (unless you are buying 5 or more LPs).  Surface mail simply takes too long and causes too many complications.  PLEASE REMEMBER: International Shipping cannot be insured/tracked unless you pay for registered mail (an additional $7.50 over the airmail price).

Insurance is available, on request, to US buyers for an additional charge & is recommended, especially on higher priced items.  The cost is $1.35 up to $50 value & $2.25 up to $100 value. Seller is not responsible for refunds or replacement of damaged or lost items that are not insured.
