Images is an album by italian singer and songwriter Lucio Battisti.
It was released in September 1977 by RCA Victor.
The album is a collection of 5 of his songs from his previous album Io tu noi tutti and 2 of his classic songs ("Il mio canto libero"and "La canzone del sole"): all songs are translated into English by Peter Powell. In the United States the album was considered
by critics a relative failure: this was partly due to Battisti's vocal performance in a foreign language, partly due translation and disco-inspired arrangements that, although pleasant, were not able to convey the spirit and all the nuances of the original songs. But
never having heard him before the LP as a revalation to me. I quite enjoyed it.
SIDE 1:
"To Feel in Love"
"The Only Thing I've Lost"
"A Song to Feel Alive"
SIDE 2:
"Keep on Cruising""The Sun Song"
"Only"
THERE WAS APPARAENTLY 1 MORE ACETATE USED IN THE MAKING OF THE LP AS
ONE SONG FROM THE LP " THERE'S NEVER BEEN A MOMENT" IS MISSING & WHAT
I HAVE MARKED IN THE SONG LISTINGS AS SIDE 2 IS WRITTEN AS SIDE 3 ON THE LABEL.

which is an additional $11.50. I have had 3 Italian customers who had not recieved their items after 3 months so I
refunded them. I don't know if they ever got the Lps or not. My understanding now is sometimes it has taken as long as
6 months before some people in Italy recieve a foreign package,That is why I stopped selling to Italy. The problem seems
to be a policy of the customhouse in Italy to collect a TAX. So if you are bidding and you are in Italy you must pay an additional
$11.50 for registered mail & realize that I won't be refunding for the LP if I can prove via registering it etc that I did in fact send it.
Also I want you to agree not to give me any negative ratings. (that I do not deserve) if once again I can prove I shipped the Acetate.
And of course it will be your (not my) responsibility to pay Italian customs fees. I ask you to acknowledge this via email after purchase.

VG : Many only surface lines or may have 1 or more small scratches .Background sound but still very enjoyable. Cover defects will be noted.
VG-: significant background sound from various defects but music always quite audible above it. Cover has some damage that will be noted.
