Perfect condition with no audible or visible defects whatsoever. The record and cover/sleeve are exactly as brand new.
NM
Near Mint
Almost mint but with one or two very minor surface marks on the record surface. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. Sound quality remains perfect. The cover/sleeve should have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects.
EX
Excellent
The record may show some signs of wear due to the fact that it has been played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. It may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect the listening experience. The cover/sleeve may also show slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split.
VG
Very Good
The record shows visible signs of wear due to the fact that it has been played on a regular basis. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages, and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches. The cover/sleeve may also show visible signs of wear, seam splits or discoloration.
