Description

AC/DC ‘DIRTY DEEDS DONE DIRT CHEAP’ MEGA RARE AUSTRALIAN IMPORT VINYL. NEAR MINT

Albert Productions APLP.020

You are bidding on a rare Australian Import of ‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’ in near mint condition. Released in 1975 on via Albert Productions, this gem has a different sleeve design and track listing to those commonly found for sale.

I would be happy to email further photographs of this item upon request.

The album has been played, but is in near mint condition which is even more amazing considering it is over 32 years old!!! It has been stored in a plastic record sleeve ever since I bought it and has cared for better than I have cared for my family.

This was the third album released by the rock icons, and the album you are bidding on is the original album - there was a modified version released internationally later. Following up on the preceding Australian album, 1975's T.N.T, AC/DC delivered another recording with a number of fan-favourite songs, ‘Squealer’, ‘Problem Child’ and the title track , together with some of the most controversial lyrics found on any AC/DC album (‘Big Balls’ is pure poetry!!!). This album contains ‘Jailbreak’ and R.I.P (rock in peace) that were subsequently substituted for other tracks on the common copy of the album.

There is little to add to the above. If you are buying this album for the first time, maybe a CD copy is recommended. This, however, represents an opportunity to acquire a wonderful copy of a rare version of an iconic album.

This LP is played, but the whole package is in near mint condition.

This release has a running time of over 42 minutes and the full track listing is: -

My LP’s are graded according to the Record Collector Grading system as follows:-

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
