​Up for sale is an original 1980 US pressing of AC/DC’s legendary masterpiece Back in Black on Atlantic Records (SD 16018). Highly sought-after first pressing featuring the famous Robert Ludwig "RL" mastering cut in the run-out dead wax.

  • ​Label: Atlantic – SD 16018 (ST-A-804517-SP)

  • ​Dead Wax / Run-out: Features the stamped "MASTERDISK" and hand-etched "RL" (Robert Ludwig) initials.

  • ​Pressing Plant: Specialty Records Corporation ("-SP" suffix on labels).

​Condition Details:


  • ​Vinyl Disc: Excellent / Very Good Plus (EX / VG+). Deep, glossy black sheen with clean grooves. Beautifully preserved with minimal cosmetic handling marks. Center labels are crisp with no spindle wear.

​Outer Jacket: Good

Shows authentic vintage shelf/ring wear and edge rubbing consistent with age (please see detailed photos). Structurally solid with no major splits.
