When a friend of mine, a major metal head, knew how much I loved rock, and heard my confession that I hadn't really listened to much of the genre, he decided he would guide me through the myriad bands. Despite my friend's efforts, I could appreciate, but never really got into speed metal. I came down loving a handful of groups, the ones with a stomping swagger, recording tracks slow enough that when the beats strike, they do so with plenty of space/air to blast us back into our chairs, pounding metal air into our lungs and heads. Accept is one of those bands. This release is a compilation culled from the prior albums 1979-1983. Vinyl always gives big rock music plenty of room to blast out at us, and the UK/Euro releases also offer the benefit of consistently high quality vinyl for the pressings, unlike American record companies who often pressed the music into some iffy vinyl.
