ABBA DANCING QUEEN Angel Sound 10" test pressing acetate diff version / mix HEAR
Very nice VG+ metal acetate. 1st few inches have hazy look, but this acetate plays well. Very slight warp does not effect anything. Played only once to record short sample.
Acetate records can be just run off of the master tape for test purposes (to see what the artist thinks), demos or recorded messages.
Recording surface.
The acetate disk's recording surface is very soft, as the records were actually cut on a machine. The material for this surface is generally an acetate-based material, hence the name "acetate." It has a particular musty odour to it, as well. These records are NOT designed for repeated play.
