Records are graded by SIGHT ONLY. We do try to be conservative in our grading, but every once in a while a record may appear cleaner than it actually sounds. If you are very displeased, just return the record for a refund - YOU PAY THE POSTAGE BACK. Please do not go through ebay returns. Just let me know that you'd like to return the record and I will provide the address for the return. Upon receiving the record back I will return your purchase price. With that in mind, our grading is as follows:
Near mint: No superficial marks, appears to have never been played
Excellent: Between VG++ and near mint; one or two light superficial marks that should not affect play
VG++: More than one or two light superficial marks; might be one or two light scratches that may cause some surface noise but nothing deep or feelable
VG+: Four to six light scratches that will affect the sound quality but still nothing deep or feelable
VG: Deep feelable scratches
Payment
