THE A-440-45-“When I Get Out” b/w “So Watch Out”-Cinema Records #C-006-Cryptic & Weird 1967 Houston TEXAS Garage-Punk. Most of you know their first Mega-Cool 45 “Torture”, this one not as evil, but still cool. A side sounds sort of like a cryptic Fever Tree to a degree, Vox Continental organ dominated with a clean rhythm guitar in the mix, cryptic and short guitar/Vox Continental lead break on the conclusion. B side is more like weird and aloof ‘jugband’ style, sort of like an off-key Sopwith Camel with “Winchester Cathedral” overtones. Very bizarre. I don’t think these guys knew what direction they were going in!!
Condition: Record is close to MINT-Minus; but has some light paper scuffs visible in certain light angles, on A side in particular.
Label clean both sides; has a couple of 'paper bubbles' on A side
