Description
Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL BAHAMIAN PRESSING of VARIOUS ARTISTS' "A NATION IS BORN" LP from 1973 on No Label (likely comissioned by gov't). Few alright tracks here including a cut by Beginning of the End but the highlight here is "Independent Bahamas" by Biosis Now which can only be found here... in fact, I don't believe they recorded anything else! Comped a few years back, it's island funk at its finest as it definitely has a distinctly Caribbean touch! Cover has some heavy seam wear at top and bottom including 3" split at bottom right corner at jacket opening. Vinyl has a couple very light superficial scuffs, just shy of NM... Beautiful copy!
Condition of the Cover/Vinyl is VG+ / EX.
