Description

This is a four 12" record set of 78s with a large cast performing Dicken's "A Christmas Carol" It's been in my family since 1950, but it was rarely played. I remember listening to it.   as a child.  It was adapted, produced and stars Ernest Chappell as the Narrator and Eustace Wyatt as Old Scrooge with a cast of 22 plus a quartet.  It was recorded for RCA Victor during the age of radio, so it is appropriately emotional, 'hammed up' and well conceived.  You can almost taste plum pudding as you listen.  I will put cardboard around the very substantial album DG 29-5 with the embossed # 36417 on each of the 4 records and ship it media mail.  The album cover itself is very strong. The record speed is 78.  This is vintage stuff.  There's only one more album like it on eBay.
