A CELEBRATION OF RICHARD RODGERS DOUBLE LP A One-Night-Only Benefit Performance for the Museum of the City of New York Theatre Collection March 26, 1972 IMPERIAL THEATRE . This double LP set was produced in a very limited run and is extremely rare. The records themselves have never been played and are in Near-Mint Condition. The sleeve is completely intact but has some tanning around the edges. Here is a short list of the performers who were assembled for this single performance and who appear on this 2-record set recorded live at the Imperial Theatre: Tony Randall, Bobby Short, Helen Gallagher, Gene Nelson, Gordon MacRae, Agnes de Mille, Celeste Holm, Benay Venuta, Richard Kiley, Leonard Bernstein, Mary Martin, Richard Rodgers and a Heavenly Host of other established Broadway performers. And, of course, all the luscious musical hits that you would expect from Rodgers & Hart and Rodgers & Hammerstein. Songs from, among others, PAL JOEY, TWO BY TWO, OKLAHOMA, CAROUSEL, SOUTH PACIFIC, NO STRINGS, I MARRIED AN ANGEL, JUMBO and, well, on and on.
