The 80s gave us numerous alternative bands. Vinyl was still prevalent, until CDs gradually started selling more. (And now vinyl sells more than CDs! Lol) In today's rockin' good deal, you'll get a TRIPLE SHOT of cool alternative band vinyl albums!

First up is a STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED copy of Love and Rockets self titled album. From 1989. This one contains their big hit "So Alive", and the trippy artwork on the front and back! There's a small area or two that the shrinkwrap is coming off, and a cut-out notch on the top right corner. (Nothing a little creativeness can't fix!) The vinyl has never seen a turntable, so when they meet, it'll be a beautiful thing! Love and Rockets was formed in 1985, nearly FORTY years ago! They are the band Bauhaus, without Peter Murphy. And Love and Rockets reformed to play a music festival a year ago in January of 2023, with a short tour that followed.

Next up is the Taking Heads, and their 1985 smash hit album called 'Little Creatures'. That one gave us the songs: "And She Was", "Stay Up Late", and "Road to Nowhere". All great songs! The front of the jacket is that crazy Illustrated artwork, and the back is a band pic, song titles, and credits. (It looks like the Talking Heads robbed a thrift store! Lol) Vinyl itself looks good, but has a few light surface marks on it, which may or may not he audible when playing. No deep scratches, gouges, or scuffs. Jacket has some shelf-wear, and a corner folded on the back, but overall looking pretty good.

Last, but never least, we have the controversial UK band Frankie Goes to Hollywood, and their second album, titled 'Liverpool', from 1986. (FGTH only had TWO studio albums released.) 'Liverpool' didn't do as well as the first album ('Welcome to the Pleasure Dome'), but it DID have a few hits on it: "Rage Hard", "Warriors of the Wasteland", and "Watching the Wildlife". Frankie as we knew them fell apart after this album was released. They popped back up through the years with another singer (Ryan Molloy), but never released any new music. In May of 2023, the official band reunited for one song, in Liverpool. And it was the first time since 1987 that all of those guys played together!

FGTH's vinyl looks fantastic, and is still all shiny and clean! Inner sleeve contains artwork and an essay. Jacket looks great, but has a little bit of shelf-wear, plus a cut-out notch on the top left corner. Gold promo stamp on the back. Overall, in really, really good condition!

A sweet 80s bundle, with three very cool anywhere bands, and available now, at a nice price. Grab these records before someone else beats you to it, and brings home the 80s for themselves (and who could blame them?)!
