Here we have something for the light opera fans out there. I always like to list different styles of music and not just one,so that everyone can get a good look in. This time around,it`s the turn of the opera singers. Many of these singers,like Nelson Eddy,Kathleen Ferrier and Peter Dawson,helped cross the bridge between opera and popular music,often recording in both styles. There are NINETY THREE discs in this set and are 10inch and 12inch. Each disc is in jolly nice condition too,so you wont get Richard Crooks jumping all over your turntable. Now,I wont list all of the titles,unless of course you wish me to do so,which will take a little while,so let`s look at the artists themselves. Here,you will find;Wanda Lardowski,Webster Booth,Nelson Eddy,Peter Dawson Enrico Caruso,Jussi Bjorlin,Richard Crooks,Heddle Nash,Marion Anderson,Gigli,Georges Thill,Kathleen Ferrier and others. This is a great little set for the lovers of opera,and of course,it`s not just operatic,but popular songs also. Now I always like to give true value for your hard earned money,so I am adding some LPs. Produced in the late 1950s and 1960s,there are some box sets and individual albums. Most of these are works by Verdi and while some of the boxes have clearly seen better days,the vinyl is in jolly nice condition. I am not asking anything more for these additions,as I simply want them to go to a good home,to be enjoyed. These are incredibly heavy and would not survive a post,even with the best packing applied,so I respectfully ask that they be collected from our home in Blackpool. As well as a Caruso 2 sided disc,I have also added 12 inch 1 sided disc(Ave Maria) PLUS,I have also added The Desert Song Selection from The Savoy Orphens,Gems from No No Nanette and Tip Toes/Sunny from The Revellers and another 12 inch Caruso. THESE MUST GO NOW TO MAKE ROOM FOR EVEN MORE GREAT RECORDS.
