Description
For rockabilly cats and kittens everywhere,here is a record that you must have in your collection. This is the great Buddy Knox with his big big hit,Party Doll. You would have seen the UK Columbia copy,but you would likely need to send to the US for this lovely Roulette copy. The disc in in jolly nice condition and I have just played it on my 1954 Handygram and it sounds fantastic. The flipside is another cool rockabilly track,performed by Jimmy Bowen,a member of The Rhythm Orchids,though he does not get vocal credit. I saw Buddy in concert many years ago at the Sun Sound Show in Finsbury Park and he was brilliant,and this disc is a must have,so choose this slice of incredible rockabilly right now and compliment your vintage record player. NOTE:DO NOT play this on a gramophone with steel needle,as it will tear it up(mmm,sounds like another rockabilly song) Dig vintage Dig rockabilly NOTE:I have another great rockabilly disc by Buddy Knox listed also.
