78 RPM Sun Record 181 Rufus Thomas Jr. Bear Cat answer To Hound Dog








 It is my understanding that this record was the first hit for Sun Records. The record sounds good on both sides however it does need a good cleaning. I can see some small scratches and some finger prints or smudges but as stated did not affect sound quality. There are som pencil marks on the "Bear Cat " side on the label. One very small chip on an outer edge that does not intrude on the grooves. If I knew how to clean this record it would look a lot better but I though I would leave that up to the professionals or collector. I know that my description makes the record sound a lot worse that it is. As stated, it does sound good.
