We are not dealers and do not have a record shop.  We acquired these records many years ago through an estate.  We’re at retirement age and are motivated to move these records hopefully to someone who will appreciate them.  Whoever wins, please contact us so we can make arrangements on the pickup.  We think a week is plenty of time for these records to be moved.  For now, records have been put back safely in our garage.  We won’t be getting them back out until a day before pickup.

This collection has both 10” and 12” size records. (Pre-War and/or early 1900's to the1950’s)  Some records are thicker and some we found are one sided. There are records in binder album types, artist record sets, and loose with some having old sleeves.  All records have been stored mostly in milk crates that you can stack. My wife and I spent hours sorting records to the best of our ability.  Any cracked and/or broken 78’s we found were taken out.  We can’t guarantee if we missed any during the sorting process but rest assured we took our time as Shellac is suspect to breaking or chipping if mishandled.   We are not experts on condition but records will need proper cleaning sense they have been in storage.

Ok, we've tried to cover as many records and artists as we can.  Again, records have been put back safely in their containers.  We won’t be getting them back out until a day before pickup.  Winner of this auction may bring their own storage containers but most will be in crates and some in banana boxes for the larger 12" inch ones that are in folder binders.  We appreciate everyone taking a look and wish you happy bidding.  By the way, if you want to use your own mover to transport these records that's fine.  However, we need to have the pickup no more than 10 days after auction ending date.  We can assist on loading but we don't have skids or any shrink wrap material.  You will have to make those arrangements with your mover.
