Brilliant jazz - ragtime - string band performances led by mandolin virtuoso Dave Apollon fronting a band of crackerjack Filipino string players.  Very few string band sides match these for sheer energy, tight playing and intricate arrangements.  Fairly scarce 78 recorded in 1932. Mostly a glossy E with some light scuffs and handling wear.
