Description
78 RPM - CLIMAX RECORD - Columbia Phonograph Co. dating to 1901 or 1902. This is a clean one-sided early record with spoken introduction, nice clean label. The sound is clear with the appropriate amount of hiss for a 110 year old record. There are not chips or cracks, there are a very minor scratches. This record played strong on my Dual 1218 turntable - no skips or pops.
This early record has the brass ring in the center hole. Plus it is a good song.

My grading scale is not complicated. Mint (M, M-) means like new with only the slightest of scuffing. Excellent (E, E+, E-) means minor scuffs, scrapes, label wear, light scratches that do not affect the play. Good (G, G+, G-) means scuffing, scraping, scratches, acceptable playing with noticible noise. I try not to sell records that are warped or that skip unless noted. These are records I have picked up while expanding my own record collection.
I pack very carefully with cardboard reinforcement, bubble wrap and sturdy boxes. I combine shipping on multiple purchases where possible.
Payment arrangemennts not made within 5 days will cause the sale to be cancelled and the item relisted for another auction.
