TITLES: Tampeekoe (C-1-2) / Deep Henderson (B-1-2)
CONDITION: EE+
DESCRIPTION: Glossy copy of one of the top notch black jazz 78s on Edison Diamond Disc. Charley Skeete (actually Skeets) led bands around New York in the late 1920s, but this 1926 date was his only appearance in a recording studio. The band probably includes Jimmy Harrison and Leonard Davis among other notables, and Edison's longer playing time is put to good use with more room for solo work. From the Ken Swerilas collection.
