The record looks to be in really good shape with less than the usual amount of scratches. All look to be light with the exception of one scratch across the first song on side 1, and one 2 centimeter nick on the first song on side 2. Those 2 scratches could possibly be more significant but still not likely anything bad enough to cause a skip. There may be a couple pops or clicks on the first song on either side though. VG+
The insert is in Near Mint condition with not even vague signs of light handling. There is, however, one crinkle at the top left corner that is only about a centimeter in width, and is barely noticeably when looking at this insert. NM
The cover is in great shape with only very slight ring wear, just barely visible only at the top middles of the front and back. There are only a handful of faint veins. The longest is not much more than an inch. There is a price tag from a record store on the front cover. 3 corners have Light wear, while the remaining corner has Moderate leaning towards Light wear. The spine edge has mostly Very Light wear with just a bit of Light (leaning towards Moderate) wear near the ends. All title text on the spine edge is still intact. Overall the cover is in great shape and easily rates VG++.
Grades that I use are G-, G, G+, G++, G+++, VG, VG+, VG++, VG+++/EX, NM. I won't be describing anything as M or MINT unless it is unopened and the packaging is completely unblemished. Records that have never been played but HAVE been opened, will be described as Near Mint or NM. These are the adjectives that I use when describing damage: Very Light < Light < Moderate < Severe < Catastrophic. To describe damage in between those ranks I say things like: "Moderate leaning towards Severe," "Moderate leaning towards light," or "In between Light and Moderate"...just for example.
