'64 NHRA Nationals - Spectacular Sounds From Indy.
Datus Records DPS 101 (stereo). Cover/vinyl are VG. A few visible marks on the LP, but overall plays pretty nicely. Rubber stamp on back cover. No seam splits.
Obscure auto/drag racing LP, recorded at Indianapolis Raceway Park, Sept 5-7, 1964. Produced and edited by Barrett Clark and Ray Fowler. A very lively, loud, and fun record as these things go, with very detailed liner notes. Featuring: Don Garlit's Swamp Rat, Color Me Gone, Gordon "Collecting" Colett, Bounty Hunter, Ramchargers, The Thumper, Golden Commando, Yankee Peddlar, Plain Vanilla, Bobby Vodnik's The Shadow, Q-Ball Wales, Pete Shadinger, Gene Logghe, Connie Kalitta, Danny Hill, Ronnie Hubbard, John Albright, Norm Weekly, Gentleman Joe Schubeck, and many others.
