Description

This is an auction for a collection of rare country LPs, by George Jones. These records come in fine condition, see list for details.

1. George Jones & Melba Montgomery, What's In Our Heart, United Artists, ULP1070, 1963, Mono, Near Mint. (sleeve has some light discolour marks to the rear but is otherwise fine, Both labels are as new with only a few tiny spider spindle marks being seen on each side, The vinyl retains its new shine, under very close examination a few feather scratches can be seen, these are non-audible, this plays as new).

2. George Jones, Sings Like The Dickens, United Artists, ULP1082, 1964, Mono, Near Mint / VG+. (sleeve and labels as one above, the vinyl has one visible scratch, this is non-audible, like the LP above this has been hardly played so there is very little if any lessening in sound quality, harshly down-graded vinyl for visible scratch despite playing fine).

3. George Jones & Gene Thomas & Rink Hardin & Melba Montgomery & Judy Lynn, Full House, United Artists, ULP1102, 1965, Mono, Near Mint. (sleeve as one above, these labels have only one or two tiny spider spindle trails on each side, the vinyl looks brand new, being really picky I would say there is two tiny feather scratches seen only under a very strong light, these are of course non-audible and as stated only seen under the closest of examinations, harshly down-graded to Near Mint).

4. The Great George Jones, United Artists, ULP1136, 1966, Mono, VG+ / Near Mint. (the sleeve has some mild discolouring marks on the rear but also has a tiny tear to the rear bottom right flipback edge, labels have a few spindle trails on each side, the vinyl has only one feather scratch, again this is non-audible, like all the LPs above this plays with little if any lessening in sound quality).

5. George Jones, Love Bug, Stateside, SL10184, 1966, Mono, Near Mint. (the sleeve has some light discolour marks on the rear, both labels have only 2 or 3 tiny spider spindle trails, the vinyl retains its brand new shine, under close scrutiny I can see a couple of feather scratches, again these are non-audible and as stated only seen under a very strong light, this also plays as all the records above with very little if any lessening in sound quality).

6. George Jones, The Fabulous Country Music Of Volume 2, Ember, CW109, 1963, Near Mint. (sleeve as above, labels are immaculate with possibly one or two tiny spider spindle trails seen on each side, the vinyl has a few feather scratches, non-audible, this retains its brand new shine and plays with very little if any lessening in sound quality).

All LPs come with their original inner sleeves which other than a touch of discolour to a couple are Mint.
