Here is a lot of 6 vintage LP records. 4 are recordings of race car sound, some with narration or the track announcers, and 2 have songs about the Joy of Cars. All of the album covers are beat up, but the 4 noise records are in good shape because....did anyone actually play them? As a lot, the records have a somewhat musty storage smell. Might be great wall decor for a vintage garage or racing display, or your man cave! Included in the lot are:
- Columbia CL2151, Hey Little Cobra And Other Hot Rod Hits, by the Rip Chords, released in 1964, monaural, cover has ring wear, rub wear, edge wear, record has light scratches, comes with a paper sleeve, includes 409, Little Deuce Coupe, Shut Down, Drag City and more
- Riverside HS 95518, Hot Rods, Dragsters And Super Stocks--Spectacular New Recording Techniques on the Drag Strip, Recorded on June 16, 1963 at Atco Raceway in New Jersey, label says cars are identified on the record, cover has edge and ring wear, record is good
- Battle BM 6130, Hot Rod Caravan-recordings of various hot rods, identified on back of album cover, recorded at the Detroit Nationals, Atco, Pomona Winternationals, Bonneville salt flats. Record is Monaural, Album cover is poor, split all around, stained, record has a rough area on the edge, and light scratches, released in 1965
- Audio Fidelity DFS 7033, Drag Race Sound Effects, cars are listed on album cover, includes good runs and bad starts, 1964, album cover is still in the overwrap, has a "discounted" hole punched in corner, record is good
- Modern Sound 525, Draggin And Surfin, artist is not credited, but shown on Discogs as the Jalopy Five, released 1964, songs about hot cars and surfin, Lots of Beach Boys covers, album cover is heavily worn and faded with splits,, record has light scratches.
- Capitol TAO 2145, The History of Drag Racing, released 1964, narration, interviews, and car sounds, gatefold cover, poster that originally came with it is not included, cover is worn, record is good
