Description
For your consideration, here are SIX 45’s from the 1950’s – all are somewhat rare.
Rather than tossing these out due to their poor conditions, we are listing them here as a bundle to the highest bidder. Generally, we never list any 45’s below the VG grades – but these may fill a “hole” in someone’s collection – at least until a better copy becomes available......
Obvious scuffs, scratches, & graying in the grooves may be quite evident…. however no skips or repeating were encountered when we played both sides on our turntable! Of the several 45’s acquired from this source, these stood out as still "enjoyable" to hear & play. There were many others that we had to toss due to overwhelming noise, cracks, etc… (i.e. The Dominoes on Federal, The Vocaleers on Red Robin, The Four Buddies on Club-51) – just to name a few!
These 45’s were well-played and probably never kept in a dust cover -- and as such we make no guarantees – as your playing equipment may be far more sensitive than ours -- so please bid with that in mind. We are picturing both sides as we weren’t completely sure which were the “hit” or A-sides on some of them. The pictures are a major part of the description.
The titles are listed below:
#1. The Velvets on Red Robin - “At Last b/w I”
#2. The Rivileers on Baton - “A Thousand Stars b/w Who Is The Girl”
#3. The Tears on Dig - “Nothing But Love b/w Until The Day I Die”
#4. The Velvets on Red Robin - “I Cried b/w Tell Her”
#5. Richard Berry on Flip - “Louie Louie b/w You Are My Sunshine”
#6. The Scarlets on Red Robin – “I’ve Lost b/w Dear One”
(#6 above has major label damage to flip – still plays)

***AFTER NEARLY 20 YEARS ON EBAY - RECENT "BIDDER REGRET" PROMPTS THIS***
45's on EBAY are sold on an "as is" basis. While we take great care in describing ALL items based entirely on honesty & integrity -- once the auction or sale has been finalized, that sale will become final and contractual as well. It is the responsibility of the WINNING bidder to determine prior to the end of the listing that the item(s) will suit their personal interests. If you have questions -- we promise to get back to you promptly with any additional pictures or information that you might need. PLEASE - only bid if you are serious about purchasing the items in fairness to all the other EBAY members out there who may not have had the opportunity to win them! We are not a "store" - we do not do returns - so we aim to get it right the first time!
GOOD+ Vinyl will have visible scratches or scuffs that may be audible during playback. May also have label damage, as well as obvious signs of improper care or storage. However...... recording should still play all the way through enough to enjoy. While we will seldom list records of this grade - exceptions are given to the obscure or more desireable records that are very rarely seen or offered - and defects should always be noted. Many garage sales, flea market, and thrift store finds often (but unfortunately) fall into this category.......including these six rare 45's.
