Here's a nice little group of Bill Haley and the Comets 78's including:
1. Dance With A Dolly / Rocking Chair on the Moon [Bill Haley with the Saddlemen] (Essex 305, 1952 CV $75)
Condition: VG+ to NM with two tiny (2mm) scratches on B side
2. Rock Around the Clock / Thirteen Women (Decca 29124, 1954 CV $50) - the one that started it all!
Condition: M- no problems
3. Razzle Dazzle / Two Hound Dogs (Decca 29552, 1955 CV $50)
Condition: VG+ two (2mm and 5mm) scratches on A side, five scratches (from 1 to 5mm) on B side
4. Rock-A-Beatin' Boogie / Burn That Candle (Decca 29713, 1955 CV $50)
Condition: VG+ two (5mm) scratches on A side, no scratches on B side
5. See You Later Alligator / The Paperboy (Decca 29791, 1956 CV $50)
Condition: VG+ to NM no scratches, minor scuffing
6. R-O-C-K / The Saints Rock and Roll (Decca 29870, 1956 CV $50) - a double-side charting hit (16 and 18)
Condition: VG- 3 scratches (5, 7 and 10mm) side A, 4 scratches (2 to 7mm) side B, label damage A side
This is a great opportunity to get a M- original release of arguably the most important record (Rock Around the Clock) in Rock and Roll history..
I cannot play 78's so I have not play-graded this, I did grade it using a 100 watt bulb and sunlight, and have tried to list all the defects above - I might have missed something, but my positive feedback from record collectors speaks for itself. I define a scratch as something I can feel with my fingernail, otherwise it is a scuff.
Any 78's that were cracked, badly chipped, delaminated or pitted were thrown away by me, I do not want any ebay returns!
The white spots you see on the pictures are dust from my scanner.

This is part of a huge collection I am selling for a widow, her husband was a dilligent record collector for nearly 50 years. Much of the material from this collection was cleaned with a Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning machine and was carefully graded, please keep checking back to see it.
