These are the songs which were recorded between Mommys Little Monster and Prison Bound. They sound completely different compared to the Prison Bound LP. They are far more punkrock, and less country. Imagine the Prison Bound Record in “Mommys Little Monster” version. If you like the first SxDx record, you will love this.

The songs are more “Country”, and less “Punkrock”. Mike Ness didn’t release this record, for what reason ever. Here are the songs, complete new sound, and slightly different lyrics. “

Very good sound quality for such old songs, and great recordings. They were recorded before “Mommys Little Monster” and the “Hell comes to your house” Sampler. They sound even rougher than the first record.

The Ramones coversong is all right, but nothing special. The duet with Eddie Vedder is awesome. Quality is almost as good as on a official live record.

I think this version of the song is even better, than on the Mike Ness solo record. Sounds a lot rougher.

At the beginning, Mike Ness explains that he wanted Johnny Cash to sing this song.

Unreleased Song, funny lyrics.

Nice Mike Ness interpretation of this Johnny Cash classic.

Brand new song, perfect live quality.

Very old song, quality not that good.

Old song, pretty bad live quality.

Old song, pretty good quality for that age.

This song is awesome, it is a pity that the quality is only average.

Great sons, quality almost as good as on a official live record.

Played in the CBGB, different lyrics for the girls ;-)

Great ballad, good quality.

Great punk rock song. Would have been fit to the first Social Distortion Record!

“It’s also about Gangster Live”. Great punk rock hymn about Bonnie und Clyde.


Live Cover Songs.


This songs have been covered live. They have never been released on record (except „Send Her Back“). Awesome are the songs “Play with fire”. Social Distortion created a fast punk rock song out of a Rolling Stones ballad. Same thing, they did with “Under my thumb.” And you won’t belive this: Social Distortion covered Jimmy Cliffs classic „The Harder They Come“. And they did do a punk rock song, did it in „Jamican-Gangster-Style”

EXCELLENT (EX): Gebraucht, aber in tadellosem Zustand. Sehr geringe oberflächliche Gebrauchsspuren./Sleeve may have some very slight wear and vinyl may have some very slight surface marks.
VERY GOOD (VG): Öfters gespielt. Möglicherweise wenige Stellen mit Knistern, insbesondere zwischen den Titeln oder bei ruhigen Passagen./
Sleeve will have some normal wear and tear without any major defects and vinyl will have noticeable surface marks and the occassional light scratch.
