Description

This is a Rare lot of 5 Vintage Post WWII Era Jazz & Pop 16” Radio Broadcasting Test Pressing Records, of which 4 are Red Vinyl! These are 1 sided records, with a label on one side, and a raised geometric pattern on the under or reverse sides. The Red Vinyl records have a label with writing that says; Thes 1339 – OK WF 10/3/47 – No. ND6-MM-9069-IMK w/ no musicians noted (4 tracks); Thes 961 – OK WF 10/7/47 – MS 066505 IMK, and is says on the sleeve “Charlie Barnet” with notes on several songs (5 tracks); Thes 1266 - OK WF 10/23/47 – No. ND5-MM-3900 IMK w/ no musician noted (5 tracks); & Thesaurus / Allen Roth Orchestra #3 4/15 - OK WF JH But Want New Text – ND6-MM-9038-2B, with one song noted on the sleeve “Warsaw Concerto” (3 tracks – RCA Victor name & logo on underside). The only Black Vinyl record has a label that says “Thes 987 – Last Band Swish 10/8 BB – MS-089716-5”, and hand written on the edge of the sleeve it says “Big Dick Liebert & Singer / When Eving Shades Fall & Other Hymns”. This record has 5 tracks. The records have scratches & surface wear on both sides, and I don’t know how well they will play, as they need to be cleaned somehow.
